“Sunday Morning Mimosa” with Lawson Roberts

On Sunday, October 7, 2012, Dr. Jennifer Fiorini was featured as a breast cancer expert and Susan G Komen for the Cure advocate on the nationally syndicated radio show, “The Sunday Morning Mimosa” with Lawson Roberts. The discussion ranged from breast self-awareness education to the upcoming Race for the Cure on October 20th. Mrs. Lucy Spears from the Lowcountry affiliate of Susan G Komen for the Cure was on hand and revealed that this is the 19th Race for the Cure in the Lowcountry. Last year’s race provided money for over 6000 free mammograms to Lowcounrty women in need, and found 32 breast cancers that would not have been detected otherwise. All while listening to great pop tunes like ABBA in the background. Thank you to Lawson Roberts for using this opportunity to spread awareness accross the Lowcountry and beyond.
